Last thing for tonight. Really. Don't attack Iraq. Thanks! :D

I've realized that I've now posted over five blog entries today. Don't be surprised...I have way too much freetime, apparently.
Anyway, I was going to work on my paper on Hawthorne's short stories, but I don't feel like reading about Puritanical values at the moment. Would you care to?
Besides, who can concentrate on Hawthorne when there's shopping to be done? Back to Amazon/American Eagle for moi. Trading Spaces (two new episodes!) is on at 8. Bring the junk food.
Bon Nuit.

Back from the party. And no, Nick was not there. Shows my luck.
Parents still aren't back yet, and shouldn't be for two more hours. Hopefully.
You know what I've always wanted to do? Do a Matrix-like kickflip off the side of a car. Just a thought.

Fresh squeezed by melly at 7:02 PM Go there, and feel the funny. I can't stop laughing.
I'm off to go to a party, maybe Nick will be there.
Is anyone aware of a place that makes t-shirts that say "obsessed" on them?
Just wondering.

I just realized that I have seven hits on this blog as of yesterday. This has made me unbelieavably happy. Granted, two of them were my own, but I'm still happy. Like, even happier than I was when I was singing earlier.
Oh my god, I just used the word "like" in a teenager/valley-girl like way.
I swear I don't have strawberry lipgloss.....none that I use, anyway.

Fresh squeezed by melly at 12:03 PM

There are some VERY VERY disturbing things on the net.
"Penis Pasta".
I won't go farther than that.
Anyway, I've decided to use this day to sing at the top of my lungs to whatever songs I please. Vanessa Carlton and Train work very well for this.
HappyHappyHappy. Maybe I should take advantage of the happy rays and call Nick.
Or not.

Fresh squeezed by melly at 11:21 AM

Good moorning....
My parents are in Chicago for the day, so I have the house to myself.
I'm not sure why they allow this, I could do some pretty scary things.
Or not.

I usually have nothing to do during the weekends. And the one time I DO..(babysitting) I get invited to a movie with some friends and a sleepover afterwards. (Please hold the sleepover comments.) Of course I can't go.
Can you get paid to be a social recluse?

Fresh squeezed by melly at 3:25 PM

Oh, good. Those godforsaken "repairs" on the site are done.
Is it truly pathetic to miss homecoming with the excuse that you're babysitting for neighbors that are going? Humor me, and say no. I'm not one of those social types, anyway. I have a group of about 5 or 6 friends, and I'm comfortable in that group- but rarely anywhere else. I need more security.
I need to get off of this computer. Really.

Fresh squeezed by melly at 2:45 PM

Half days, half days, oh how I love half days.
Instead of doing something productive, we spent our three hours of school today taking the ACT test. This would normally be really boring, but we took the test in our homerooms.
Nick Wester is in my homeroom, and I'm not against staring at certain people for 3 hours.
Half days, half days, oh how I love half days.
Yeah, I'm still working on it.

Ok, Ok. Here's the lyrics, for those of you who were curious.

feels like you made a mistake
you made somebody's heart break
now i have to let you go
i have to let you go
you left a stain
on every one of my good days
but i am stronger than you know
i have to let you go
no one's ever turned you over
no one's tried to ever let you down
beautiful girl, bless your heart
i got a disease
deep inside me
makes me feel uneasy baby
i can't live without you
tell me what am i s'posed to do about it
keep your distance from me
don't pay no attention to me
i got a disease

feels like you're making a mess
you're hell on wheels in a black dress
you drove me to the fire
and left me there to burn
every little thing you do is tragic
all my life before was magic
beautiful girl
i can't breathe
i got a disease

i think that i'm sick
believe me,
well my love is coming down on me
you taste like honey, honey,
tell me can i be your honey
be be strong
i'm telling myself that it won't take long
cos you know
i'm free of my disease

i'm telling myself that it won't take long
til i'm free of my disease
set me free of my disease

Fresh squeezed by melly at 7:31 PM

Matchbox 20's "Disease" is playing on the radio at this moment. I really love that song.
I'm not sure.
That's how most of my life is, actually. I experience feelings and emotions that seem to stem out of nowhere...all of them unexplainable. So, with that said, welcome to my newfound blog.
I hate mainstream music. My favorite comic is "Doonesbury". I enjoy making fun of politics. And shopping. I like eating plain toast on rainy days. I believe the return key makes a pretty sound when hit. I also believe that friends don't let friends cheerlead. I am an avid vegetarian. I can't stand it when people say "punkin" instead of "pumpkin".
Citrus is sweet, if you have the taste for it.
